4 Denn1063 ich schrieb1125 euch5213 in1223 großer4183 Trübsal2347 und2532 Angst4928 des Herzens2588 mit viel4183 Tränen1144, nicht3756 daß2443 ihr1097 solltet betrübet werden3076, sondern235 auf1519, daß ihr die3739 Liebe26 erkennetet, welche ich habe2192 sonderlich4056 zu1537 euch5209.

5 But1161 if1487 any5100 have caused grief,3076 he hath not3756 grieved3076 me,1691 but235 in part:575 3313 that2443 I may not3361 overcharge1912 you5209 all.3956

5 So aber1161 jemand1536 eine Betrübnis hat angerichtet3076, der hat nicht3756 mich1691 betrübet3076, ohne zum575 Teil3313, auf daß3363 ich nicht3363 euch5209 alle3956 beschwere.

6 Sufficient2425 to such a man5108 is this3778 punishment,2009 which3588 was inflicted of5259 many.4119

6 Es ist5108 aber genug2425, daß derselbige von5259 vielen4119 also3778 gestraft2009 ist.

7 So that5620 contrariwise5121 ye5209 ought rather3123 to forgive5483 him, and2532 comfort3870 him, lest3381 perhaps such a one5108 should be swallowed up2666 with overmuch4055 sorrow.3077

9 Denn1063 darum habe ich5124 euch5216 auch2532 geschrieben1125, daß2443 ich erkennete, ob1487 ihr1097 rechtschaffen seid1382, gehorsam5255 zu1519 sein2075 in1519 allen3956 Stücken.

11 auf daß3363 wir nicht3756 übervorteilt werden4122 vom Satan4567; denn1063 uns ist nicht50 unbewußt, was er846 im Sinn3540 hat.
